苏世习，笔名墨农，1958 年 2 月生于福建省泉州市晋江市磁灶镇钱坡村，政协第八届、第九届、第十届、第十一届晋江市委员会委员。现为中央国家机关书法家协会会员、中国书法家协会会员、中国楹联学会会员、中国科学院艺术研究委员会特约研究员、中国管理科学院创新研究所兼职副所长、中国楹联报编辑部副秘书长、国家书画院副院长、福州大学厦门工艺美术学院书法艺术导师兼客座教授、福建省书法家协会会员、福建省楹联学会会员、海峡两岸榜书协会创作中心指导主席、国际科学研究院终身客座教授、晋江市老年大学书画学会会长、晋江市楹联学会会长、晋江市榜书协会指导主席、晋江市梅岭书画协会主席、晋江市政协书画院画师、中国民间特色书法艺术之乡书法协会主席。
书法作品流传广泛，有千余幅作品雕刻于闽南地区大寺庙、大宗祠、学校、民宅等地方，有相当数量作品雕刻于山川、大石摩崖壁刻。
Su Shixi, pen name Monong, was born in February 1958 in Qianpo Village, Cizao Town, Jinjiang City, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. He was a member of the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th Jinjiang Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Now he is a member of the Central State Organ Calligrapher's Association, a member of the Chinese Calligrapher's Association, a member of the Chinese Couplet Association, a special researcher of the Arts Research Committee of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a part-time deputy director of the Innovation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Management Sciences, a deputy secretary-general of the editorial department of the Chinese Couplet Newspaper, a deputy president of the National Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, a calligraphy art tutor and visiting professor of the Xiamen Institute of Arts and Crafts, Fuzhou University, a member of the Fujian Calligrapher's Association, a member of the Fujian Couplet Association, a director of the Creation Center of the Cross Strait Book Association, a lifelong visiting professor of the International Academy of Sciences, a president of the Painting and Calligraphy Association of Jinjiang University for the Elderly, a president of the Jinjiang Couplet Association, a director of the JinChairman, Painter of Jinjiang CPPCC Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Chairman of the Calligraphy Association of the Hometown of Chinese Folk Calligraphy.
Calligraphy works are widely circulated, with over a thousand pieces carved in large temples, ancestral halls, schools, residential buildings, and other places in southern Fujian. A considerable number of works are carved on mountains, rivers, and large stone cliffs.
